Job summary

Metric Geo in Orlando is seeking a Project Manager / Civil Site Development Engineer to own land development and infrastructure projects. You will lead design teams, coordinate with clients and contractors, and ensure quality from concept through construction.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of civil engineering experience, a PE license, and strong permitting and hydraulics knowledge. This on-site role offers growth and a collaborative ESOP-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Active PE license.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience delivering civil site development and infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of stormwater management, hydrology, and hydraulics.
• Experience producing grading plans, drainage studies, utility designs, and construction documents.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and design of civil site development projects, including water, wastewater, stormwater, grading, and drainage systems.
• Prepare design calculations, construction drawings, drainage studies, specifications, and bid documentation.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and overall quality.
• Coordinate permitting activities with municipal, state, and other regulatory agencies.
• Work directly with clients, contractors, and internal technical teams throughout project delivery.

A well-established employee-owned engineering and consulting firm is looking for a Project Manager / Civil Site Development Engineer to join its Orlando team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a variety of land development and infrastructure projects while working closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

The successful candidate will bring strong technical design experience, an understanding of permitting and drainage, and the ability to manage projects from initial design through construction.

Key Responsibilities
