Job summary

EverHire, a consulting firm with roughly 20 years behind them and offices across New England, NY/NJ, Florida and the Midwest, is seeking a Project Manager to join its growing New England office. You will manage site/civil projects for private developers, universities and public agencies, handle zoning and land development permitting, and oversee site design tasks.

The ideal candidate is a Licensed PE with a BS in Civil Engineering, proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and a strong communicator who

Qualifications

• Licensed PE required with a BS in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in site and grading design; familiar with zoning and site plan permitting.

Responsibilities

• Managing site/civil projects for private developers, universities and public agencies
• Zoning and land development permitting, field inspection, hydraulic/hydrologic design and analysis
• Site plan drafting, environmental impact assessment, project reports
• Design of site layout, grading, stormwater management, utilities, landscaping, lighting, soil erosion and sediment control
• Reviewing and overseeing designer/analyst work
• Coordinating permitting submissions and liaising with jurisdictional bodies
• Teaching and training entry to mid level engineers
• Potential to grow into a client-facing, business-winning role over time

Job description

A consulting firm with roughly 20 years behind them and offices across New England, NY/NJ, Florida and the Midwest is looking to add a Project Manager to their growing New England office.

This isn't a backfill. The office is young and growing organically, this is about supporting genuine growth.

What you'd be doing:

• Managing site/civil projects for private developers, universities and public agencies
• Zoning and land development permitting, field inspection, hydraulic/hydrologic design and analysis
• Site plan drafting, environmental impact assessment, project reports
• Design of site layout, grading, stormwater management, utilities, landscaping, lighting, soil erosion and sediment control
• Reviewing and overseeing designer/analyst work
• Coordinating permitting submissions and liaising directly with jurisdictional bodies
• Teaching and training entry to mid level engineers
• Potential to grow into a more client-facing, business-winning role over time

What they're looking for:

• Licensed PE, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Site and grading design experience, comfortable with the zoning and site plan permitting process
• Private land development background strongly preferred over public-sector-only experience
• Strong AutoCAD skills; Civil 3D, HydroCAD and/or technical writing a plus
• Self-motivated, strong communicator, genuine team player
