Job summary

EverHire is seeking a Land Development Assistant Project Manager to join our growing New England office. You will support the Project Manager with design and permitting tasks for site development projects across the region.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of site/civil design experience, a BS in Civil Engineering (EIT acceptable), and strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills. PE is not mandatory at this level, but readiness to take on more client exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of site/civil design and permitting experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; EIT acceptable, PE not mandatory at this level.
• Ideally near PE or ready to take on more client exposure.
• Strong AutoCAD skills; Civil 3D, HydroCAD and/or technical writing a plus.
• Self-motivated, strong communicator, genuine team player.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Project Manager with day to day design and permitting tasks.
• Design of site layout, grading, stormwater management, utilities, landscaping, lighting, soil erosion and sediment control.
• Zoning and land development permitting, field inspection, hydraulic/hydrologic design and analysis.
• Site plan drafting, environmental impact assessment, project reports.
• Becoming genuinely more client facing over time, something candidates are often held back from elsewhere.

Land Development Assistant Project Manager

A consulting firm with roughly 20 years behind them and offices across New England, NY/NJ, Florida and the Midwest is looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to their growing New England office.

This is organic growth alongside a Project Manager hire, not a backfill. The office is young so you'd be joining at a genuinely good time to make your mark.

What you'd be doing:

• Assisting the Project Manager with day to day design and permitting tasks
• Design of site layout, grading, stormwater management, utilities, landscaping, lighting, soil erosion and sediment control
• Zoning and land development permitting, field inspection, hydraulic/hydrologic design and analysis
• Site plan drafting, environmental impact assessment, project reports

Becoming genuinely more client facing over time, something candidates are often held back from elsewhere

What they're looking for:
