Job summary

CPH in Miami, FL is seeking a Project Designer - Land Development to support site layout, grading, and construction coordination for large commercial developments under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and the Adobe Suite is essential, along with strong collaboration with engineers, architects, designers, and clients to ensure designs meet codes, standards, and project deadlines.

Qualifications

Associate degree or CAD certificate required.
Experience with on-site land development design preferred.
Ability to read codes/regulations and collaborate with the project team.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate presentation, design, and construction documents using AutoCAD.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, consultants and clients.
Interpret codes, regulations, and client requirements to guide the design process.
Adhere to CAD standards, templates, and best practices for consistency.
Calculate quantities and areas for land development designs.
Travel for site investigations and prepare reports and exhibits.
Assist in assembling construction plans across disciplines and ensure timely submissions.
Develop detailed technical drawings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Work with project managers to meet specifications, standards and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
