Job summary

CPH is seeking a Project Designer - Land Development in Lakeland, FL (with Miami, FL as an alternate). The role supports on-site layout, grading, and full construction site coordination under supervision of a licensed PE.

Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills are essential as you contribute to major commercial developments. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, and clients to produce precise construction documents, ensure standards compliance, and deliver high-quality client

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or CAD certificate required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a MUST.
• Experience with CAD standards and on-site coordination is desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate presentation, design, and construction documents using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate and coordinate with the project team, including engineers, architects, designers, consultants, and clients.
• Interpret relevant codes, regulations, and client requirements to guide the design process.
• Implement and utilize CAD standards, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
• Calculate quantities, areas, and other essential data for land development civil designs.
• Travel periodically to perform site investigations and observe construction progress, then prepare reports.
• Assist in compiling construction plans from all disciplines for agency submission.
• Develop detailed technical drawings and designs and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to meet project specs and safety standards.
