Job summary

CPH in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Project Designer - Land Development to support day-to-day on-site layout, grading, and construction coordination for large commercial developments.

Under supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer, you will prepare accurate design documents with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and the Adobe suite, and collaborate with engineers, architects and clients to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or CAD certificate required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is mandatory.
• Experience with Commercial, Retail, Restaurant or Industrial projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate presentation, design, and construction documents using CAD.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, designers, consultants and clients.
• Interpret codes, regulations and client requirements for design.
• Apply CAD standards, templates and best practices for quality.
• Calculate quantities and data for land development designs.
• Travel for site investigations and observations, with reports produced.
