Job summary

D.R. Horton is seeking a Land Development Project Manager to lead the development of raw land for home and amenity construction in new communities. You will manage vendors, oversee infrastructure installation, and ensure schedules align with project milestones.

The role requires coordinating with city officials, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to deliver ready-to-build lots while maintaining compliance with codes and regulations. A vehicle and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Three years of related experience with civil construction, landscaping, irrigation systems, and/or training hardscape installation and maintenance.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form or via DRH applications.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Review civil improvement plans, geotechnical evaluations, landscape plans and project specs to deliver finished lots for home construction.
• Oversee development and scheduling for infrastructure installation and lot preparation.
• Meet with officials during installation and inspection of civil construction and amenities.
• Ensure project schedule accuracy and report delays as needed.
• Coordinate milestones with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Education
