Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Land Development Project Manager to lead site development for new communities in Florida. You will oversee vendors and contractors, manage infrastructure installation, and ensure lots are prepared for construction.

Responsibilities include coordinating with officials, engineers, and utilities, maintaining schedules, and supporting bid and contract processes. Travel overnight as needed. Fortune 500 company with strong growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
• Three years of related experience with residential or civil construction, landscaping, irrigation systems, or hardscape installation preferred.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Review civil improvement plans, geotechnical evaluations, landscape plans and specs to deliver finished lots.
• Oversee development and scheduling for infrastructure installation and site works.
• Meet with city officials during installation and inspections of civil works and amenities.
• Maintain accurate project schedules and identify delays.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors and internal stakeholders on milestones.
• Assist in bid processes and contract scope for bidding.
• Travel overnight as required.
