Job summary

NVR's Ryan Homes is seeking a Land Development Manager in Naperville, IL to oversee daily land development activities across communities under contract with third-party developers. You will monitor Community Land Use Approvals and Development Improvements and help expedite openings for sales.

Responsibilities include identifying bottlenecks, assisting in due diligence for new acquisitions, and maintaining a database of approval statuses to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Land Development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the division and NVR developer partners in understanding requirements involved in the Subdivision Approval and Development Improvement process.
• Identify bottlenecks and potential delays early and provide solutions to meet planned community sales opening dates.
• Participate in due diligence studies on new acquisitions.
• Maintain database to track the status of each community through municipal approvals and land development processes.
