Job summary

NVR, Inc. is seeking a Land Acquisition Manager to identify, assess, and secure premier land locations for new communities. You will lead negotiations, perform land use and financial analyses, and guide due diligence from concept planning through title review.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with marketing and production teams, oversee zoning and site development, and represent the company in local communities. A strong focus on market trends and strategic acquisition will drive success.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of land acquisition experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Real estate finance experience.
• Skilled in land deal structuring.
• Background in land planning, zoning, law, and real estate.
• Homebuilding industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside marketing and production team members to complete land feasibility studies.
• Negotiate directly with land owners to secure prime sites at the best price.
• Provide accurate timing for the proposed development analysis.
• Work with the development team to ensure efficient use of land and cost-effective completion of a finished lot.
• Understand and oversee site development, including local zoning, planning, and pricing.
• Work with marketing team members to monitor competitive local home building and prices.
• Arrange lot development.
• Represent NVR in the local community.
