Job summary

Conrad Consulting seeks an experienced Group Manager – Land Development in Buffalo, NY to lead land development projects and manage a team of engineers and designers in our Buffalo office.

You will oversee site design, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management, while coordinating with clients, municipalities, contractors, and consultants. This role emphasizes leadership, client management, and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• New York PE license preferred/required.
• 12+ years of land development or civil engineering experience.
• Experience managing projects and staff.
• Strong communication and client management skills.
• Experience with Civil 3D and land development design.

Responsibilities

• Manage land development projects from concept through construction.
• Lead and mentor engineers, designers, and project managers.
• Oversee site design, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management.
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, contractors, and consultants.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality.
• Support business development and help grow the Buffalo land development practice.
• Participate in client and municipal meetings.
