Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Land Development Civil Engineer to support residential, commercial, and municipal infrastructure projects in the Tampa area. You will design site developments, perform grading, drainage, stormwater and utility analyses, and produce construction drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, and an EIT or PE license is preferred. Experience with ICPR/SWMM and roadway design is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT or PE license preferred.
• Previous land development design experience required.
• Experience with residential and commercial development projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D required.
• Experience with GIS preferred.
• Experience with ICPR or SWMM stormwater modeling preferred.
• Roadway design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering design plans, calculations, technical reports, and construction documents.
• Perform grading, drainage, stormwater, water quality, utility, and infrastructure calculations.
• Develop site plans, utility plans, drainage plans, and construction drawings for land development projects.
• Support residential, commercial, and master-planned community developments.
• Coordinate designs with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Participate in project meetings and design reviews.
• Assist with project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate permitting efforts with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Ensure designs comply with zoning requirements and municipal regulations.
• Resolve design challenges and construction conflicts in the field.
