Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Equivalent combination of education and related training/experience may be considered.
• Significant independent project completion experience desired.
• Three (3) years of related engineering experience required.

Responsibilities

• Designs, details, prepares, reviews, and/or revises construction plans and specifications for municipal projects.
• Coordinates plans within the department and with contractors, firms, and government agencies.
• Provides input into rules, regulations, and site plans to ensure technical conformance.
• Reads technical drawings and diagrams to determine compliance with standards.
• Performs calculations and prepares geometric designs for roadway projects.
