Job summary

NV5 is seeking a student intern to support the Land Development group through design preparation. We work in a studio atmosphere where collaboration, flexibility, and self-motivation are important.

This internship provides hands-on experience on site design, calculations, and reporting, while collaborating with project teams, agencies, and possibly clients. Interns gain exposure to meetings, fieldwork, and tasks that help shape infrastructure and environmental projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Agricultural Engineering and currently enrolled.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with supervision as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs and reports, perform calculations.
• Interact with the project team, agencies, and possibly clients.
• Perform site visit fieldwork as needed.
• Attend meetings.
• Provide assistance with project-related tasks.
