NV5 is seeking a student intern to support the Land Development group through design preparation. You will collaborate in a studio atmosphere, work with project teams, and gain hands-on experience in civil engineering design.

The internship emphasizes communication, teamwork, and attention to detail as you assist with designs, reports, site visits, and meetings, under supervision. This role offers exposure to public and private sector projects at NV5.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Agricultural Engineering; must be enrolled.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision as well as work effectively as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs and reports, perform calculations.
• Interact and communicate with the project team, agencies, and possibly clients.
• Perform site visit fieldwork work as needed.
• Attend meetings.
• Provide assistance with specific project-related tasks.
