Job summary

InSite Engineering in Wall Township, NJ is seeking a Design Engineer with 2–4 years of Civil Engineering experience to contribute to land development projects from concept through construction. You will design grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways, and prepare permit-ready plans using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

The role requires an EIT or active licensure pursuit, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited college/university.
• 2–4 years of civil engineering/land development experience.
• EIT certification required or pursuing licensure.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans and designs for residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use land development.
• Design grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and stormwater systems per regulations.
• Develop engineering plans and construction documents with Civil 3D/AutoCAD.
• Prepare calculations, analyses, estimates, and supporting docs.
• Coordinate with agencies and clients; participate in meetings.
• Support projects from concept through construction and provide guidance to juniors.
