Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking an experienced civil designer to collaborate on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will develop conceptual site layouts, perform grading analyses, and assist with permits and construction drawings in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and at least 3 years of related experience. Local travel and occasional after-hours work may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 3+ years of experience in engineering/design.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Designs site plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepares conceptual grading analyses and site layout.
• Prepares and computes site analysis reports, cost estimates, utility computations, detention/retention computations, storm water reports, and earthwork analysis.
• Assists in production of final construction drawings.
• Prepares permit applications for municipal agencies.
• Assists project managers as requested and communicates with clients.
• Works with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects and attends meetings.
