Job summary

gpac seeks a Civil Engineer specializing in Land Development for a well-established client in New Hampshire. The role emphasizes site evaluation, grading, stormwater, and utility design within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

You will prepare and review plans, coordinate with surveyors, architects, and environmental engineers, ensure compliance with regulations, and support construction with technical guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. EIT are encouraged to apply.
• 3-15 years of experience in land development design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software.
• Strong knowledge of local and state land development regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site analysis and assessments for proposed land development projects.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and drawings for land development projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surveyors, architects, and environmental engineers.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform calculations related to grading, stormwater management, and utility design.
• Provide technical expertise during the construction phase, addressing challenges and ensuring project success.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to convey engineering concepts and project updates.
