Job summary

Resource Options, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer with 1–4 years of site/civil design experience to join a collaborative team in New Hampshire. You will prepare layouts, perform drainage and grading calculations, and assist with permit applications for local and state agencies.

You will work with surveyors, architects, and environmental consultants, supporting schedules and budgets under senior staff while staying updated on NH regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification is required; actively pursuing PE license is preferred.
• 1-4 years of experience in site/civil design with Civil 3D knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Their projects span residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial developments, with a strong focus on sustainable and cost-effective solutions. Responsibilities

• Prepare site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater management plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Perform engineering calculations for drainage, utilities, and site grading.
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and support documentation for local and state agencies.
• Conduct site visits and support construction observation as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surveyors, architects, and environmental consultants.
• Support project schedules, budgets, and deliverables under the direction of senior staff.
• Stay current on local, state, and federal regulations affecting land development in New Hampshire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification required; actively pursuing PE license preferred.
• 1-4 years of experience in site/civil design with a strong working knowledge of Civil 3D.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000 Commensurate with experience
