Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Land Development Civil Engineer to support residential, commercial, and municipal infrastructure projects. The role focuses on site design, grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, and permitting. Proficiency with Civil 3D and AutoCAD is required, with ICPR/SWMM modeling and GIS preferred.

The position offers collaboration with engineers, planners, developers, contractors, and clients from feasibility through construction completion in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
  • EIT or PE license is preferred.
  • Experience with land development design is required.
  • Experience with residential and commercial development is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design is required.
  • AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience is required.
  • GIS experience is preferred.
  • ICP R or SWMM stormwater modeling is preferred.
  • Roadway design experience is a plus.

  • Prepare engineering design plans, calculations, reports, and construction documents.
  • Perform grading, drainage, stormwater, water quality, utility, and infrastructure calculations.
  • Develop site, utility, and drainage plans and drawings for land development projects.
  • Support residential, commercial, and master-planned developments.
  • Coordinate designs with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.
  • Assist with project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate permitting with local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Ensure designs comply with zoning and municipal regulations.
  • Resolve design challenges and field construction issues.

Salary: $75,000 - $120,000 per year

A leading civil engineering and land development consulting firm is seeking a Land Development Civil Engineer to support a variety of residential, commercial, and municipal infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have experience designing site development projects and performing engineering analysis related to grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and permitting.

  • Develop site plans, utility plans, drainage plans, and construction drawings for land development projects
  • Support residential, commercial, and master-planned community developments
  • Coordinate designs with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients
  • Participate in project meetings and design reviewsAssist with project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates
  • Coordinate permitting efforts with local, state, and federal agencies
  • Ensure designs comply with zoning requirements and municipal regulations
  • Resolve design challenges and construction conflicts in the field
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Previous land development design experience required
  • Experience with residential and commercial development projects preferred
  • Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D required
  • Experience with GIS preferred
  • Experience with ICPR or SWMM stormwater modeling preferred
  • Roadway design experience is a plus
