Job summary

Jobot in Denham Springs, LA is seeking multiple entry-level Civil Engineers to join the Land Development team. You will work on residential subdivision projects, site layout, and related tasks under guidance from senior engineers.

As a permanent role, you will provide technical support, assist in design and documentation, and gain hands-on experience with Civil 3D and other design software while meeting project deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of civil engineering, land development, site design, or related experience.
• Proficient with Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
• Familiarity with residential subdivision design and site layout.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of site development designs, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways.
• Participate in the design and preparation of construction documents for residential subdivision projects.
• Utilize Civil 3D software to create and modify civil engineering design plans.
• Conduct site investigations and inspections to ensure design specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
• Contribute to project meetings and liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders as required.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Continually update skills and knowledge in civil engineering and land development to ensure competence with current standards.
