Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an Associate, Land Development to support utility-scale wind and solar project development across the United States. The role is based in Chicago, Illinois, reporting to the Senior Manager, Land Development.

You will collaborate with the Land Development team, review contracts, and coordinate with legal, developers, and landowners. Travel to field opportunities is required, with strong MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills and a solid energy industry background.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.
3-5 years of work experience in energy industry or relevant experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to travel as needed.
Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Lead risk and contract review processes for land development projects.
Coordinate landowner communications and meetings with developers, land agents, and legal teams.
Attend project-related meetings and lead field opportunities when needed.
Prepare and oversee large-scale documentation drafting and estoppel processes.
Serve as liaison for developers, paralegals, landowners, and internal/external stakeholders.
Lead project finance and/or sale preparation activities.
