Job summary

Invenergy LLC, North America's largest privately held developer, owner and operator of power infrastructure, seeks an Associate, Renewable Development to support utility-scale wind energy projects across the United States. You will advance projects, perform market assessments, secure site control, help budgeting and permitting, and coordinate with landowners, officials, and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in renewable/clean energy.
• Strong understanding of the development process for clean energy projects.
• Excellent organizational, networking, leadership, and time management skills.
• Ability to write effective, concise reports.
• Valid driver’s license and US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Advance wind or solar project developments within the US region.
• Identify development prospects through market assessments and site reconnaissance.
• Develop pricing strategies and manage resource assessment processes.
• Secure site control via leases and landowner agreements.
• Evaluate and track power market trends.
• Coordinate landowner communications.
• Lead in obtaining local, state and federal permits.
• Represent Invenergy LLC with customers, landowners, officials and other stakeholders.
• Initiate and manage interconnection activities.
• Assist project budgeting and scheduling.
• Manage tasks according to budgets and schedules with internal and external support.
