Job summary

David Weekley Homes' Phoenix Division is seeking a Land Development Associate to assist with site development coordination, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure quality and compliance throughout the process.

This role provides valuable field experience and serves as the foundation for future growth within the Land Development or Entitlement career paths.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, land development, or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proactive problem solver who enjoys field work and building relationships with consultants and trade partners.
• Familiarity with civil plans, permitting, and the land development process.

Responsibilities

• Support the Land Development team coordinating all aspects of project management, including budgets, schedules, and reporting.
• Serve as a field representative, meeting with consultants, contractors, and utility providers to oversee site activities and maintain project timelines.
• Participate in inspections, walkthroughs, and turnovers to ensure quality standards and compliance are achieved.
• Coordinate community close-out efforts, including infrastructure turnover, SWPPP compliance, coordination with utility providers, and landscape walks.
• Support HOA transitions by facilitating the completion and turnover of common areas to homeowners.
