Job summary

EQV is seeking a Land Business Analyst to join its Land team. This role blends Land and Business Analysis, handling data organization and processing as EQV scales its Land assets.

The right candidate has strong technical and business analysis skills, deep Land knowledge, and clear communication across teams. You will support system enhancements, data governance, and integration efforts, working with SQL, Excel, and land-related software.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Energy Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in upstream oil and gas as a business/land analyst or related role.
• Knowledge of oil and gas lease terms, conveyances, assignments, and title documents.
• Experience with land management software (Quorum, PakLand, LandVantage).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ability to learn new systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; independent work under general supervision.
• Intermediate SQL proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for Land Systems and lead implementation of Land systems.
• Map and analyze Land business processes for optimization.
• Own vendor relationships for Land systems and coordinate testing and deployments.
• Provide end-user training and ensure smooth adoption of Land tools.
• Quality control of land data for accuracy, consistency, integrity across the portfolio.
• Help build automated (AI-assisted) lease and contract intake processes.
