Acara Solutions in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Land Agent I to acquire land rights for utility construction and maintenance, including easements, permits, and related documents. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience in property descriptions, real estate law, or utility engineering.

  • Mitigate routine right-of-way encroachments and assist with protecting company facilities.
  • Support litigation research, land rights documentation, relocation projects, and internal partners on land-related matters.
  • Utilize mapping and GIS tools to support land acquisition and right-of-way activities.

About the Opportunity:
  • Land Agent I responsible for acquiring and supporting the management of land rights needed for utility construction, operation, maintenance, and protection of company facilities.
  • Supports right-of-way, easement, permitting, and land acquisition activities for utility infrastructure projects.
  • Works with property owners, agencies, and internal stakeholders to research, negotiate, and document land rights.

Job Requirements
What You\'ll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+years of experience inlegal property descriptions, real estate law, and utility engineering/specifications.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Associate\'s Degree
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Mathematics skills including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
  • Basic proficiency in a Windows computer environment.
  • Utility right-of-way (ROW) experience.
  • Experience conducting title research and interpreting legal descriptions.
  • Experience using Google Earth and ESRI/GIS products.
  • Arizona Real Estate License preferred but not needed.
