Job summary

Ovintiv is seeking an Intern to support the Land Administration team, gaining exposure to land data, ownership, and contractual processes. You will work with a mentor on a defined project and contribute to real‑world tasks during the summer.

You'll develop practical skills in lease and contract administration, mineral and royalty ownership, and data integrity while collaborating with multiple internal teams in a real energy company setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Must be enrolled as a full-time student through December 2027.
• Must be available May 17 - August 6, 2027.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support Land Administration by maintaining land, ownership, and contractual information.
• Collaborate with Land, Legal, Accounting, Operations, and other teams to support lease and contract administration, mineral and royalty ownership analysis.
• Contribute to data integrity and the research and resolution of ownership, contract, and operational matters.
• Assist with project work and deliver meaningful contributions under mentorship.
