Permian Resources invites college students to join a Summer 2027 Land Intern Program in Midland, Texas. Interns will clear titles for drilling locations, research land ownership and mineral rights, analyze title documents, and verify lease records while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The program pairs interns with mentors, offers training, field tours, and networking opportunities with executives. Ideal candidates are pursuing related degrees and can commit to 12 weeks beginning mid-May 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution
• Pursuing or have completed a degree in Energy Commerce, Land Management, Business Management, or related fields.
• Current level in college: Sophomore through Graduate student
• Expected graduation: Fall of 2027 through Spring/Fall of 2028
• Available for internship start mid-late May 2027
• A minimum of 12 continuous weeks’ availability for internship

Responsibilities

• Assist in clearing title for drilling locations and stay ahead of a fast-paced schedule
• Research land ownership and mineral rights, analyze title documents
• Verify updated land and lease records and ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations
• Support multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
• Contribute to ensuring all land transactions comply with applicable regulations

Land Intern Job Description: Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Land Intern for the Summer of 2027 Intern Program in Midland, Texas. The candidate could work to clear title for drilling locations, staying ahead of a fast paced, multi‑rig horizontal schedule. They could assist in researching land ownership and mineral rights, along with analyzing title documents and verifying updated land and lease records. Additionally, the candidate could ensure that all land transactions comply with local, state and federal regulations.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical as well as communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi‑disciplinary team in a fast‑paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum cumulative and major GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Lower GPAs in the applicant’s field of study may be considered if extenuating circumstances apply
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Must be able to handle multiple projects and obtain results in a performance driven, team‑oriented environment
