Ovintiv is offering a comprehensive summer internship in Denver for aspiring land professionals. As a Land Negotiator intern you will work with cross-discipline teams to help build a strategic land base through leases, sales, acquisitions, and contractual arrangements under mentorship.

You will gain exposure to acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures while navigating regulatory issues such as well spacing and permitting.

Qualificações

• Must be legally eligible to work in the Country of placement without sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled as a full-time student through December 2027.
• Must be available May 17- August 5, 2027.
• Enrollment in Energy and Professional Land Management or equivalent program is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Land Negotiators work on cross-discipline teams where land, engineering, geology, marketing and accounting work together to build a strategic land base underlying large resource plays through land sales, acquisitions, lease purchases, and contractual arrangements.
• Examples of past intern projects include researching competitor ownership of surrounding leases, understanding implications of new government rules or court cases, and obtaining necessary permits, applications, title opinions, and approvals for well development.
