Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation invites motivated college students to a 10–14 week summer Land Internship in Canton, OH. You will assist Land personnel, locate information to resolve owner questions, and read/conveyance contracts and leases, supporting acquisition records.

Gain exposure to oil and gas operations, create cross-references from wells to leases, prepare documents, and provide clerical support. Strong written and verbal communication skills and a self-starter attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a college/university program at the time of internship.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Land personnel by locating information to resolve owner questions and payment issues.
• Read and interpret contracts, including conveyance, leases and other oil and gas documents.
• Create cross-references from wells to leases and other contracts.
• Support acquisition records assimilation and document preparation.
• Resolve standard ownership issues and prepare documents.
• Scan documents and provide clerical support.
• Handle returned checks and related clerical tasks.
• Provide general office support as needed.
