Job summary

GPAC is seeking a Land Acquisition Manager in the United States to secure undeveloped land or finished lots for development. You will work with property owners, brokers, land developers and city officials to secure land, underwrite opportunities and negotiate contracts.

Strong communication, research, and multitasking skills are essential. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in land acquisition or related fields and a bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, real estate or related field.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in land acquisition or related real estate fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, real estate or related field preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, Secure and Organize Land Acquisition Leads
  • Perform Title and municipal research and initial cold call inquiry for potential land leads
  • Provide property description information, seller demands, terms and contact information to management
  • Maintain close relationships with land developers, brokers and land owners
  • Underwrite and analyze the financial aspects of each development opportunity
  • Communicate regularly with city officials
  • Negotiate purchase contracts with sellers
  • Conduct all business professionally to serve customers and increase goodwill and profit
