Job summary

gpac is representing a leading home builder/developer in the Minneapolis area seeking a Land Acquisition Manager. The role focuses on acquiring undeveloped land or finished lots for development, partnering with owners, brokers, and city officials to secure sites, negotiate terms, and drive growth.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of land or real estate experience, a Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, or related field, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in engineering, finance, real estate or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in land or real estate acquisition.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, secure and organize land acquisition leads.
• Perform title and municipal research and initial inquiries.
• Provide meetings with sellers and communicate terms to management.
• Prepare letters of intent and negotiate purchase contracts.
• Underwrite and analyze financial aspects of development opportunities.
• Travel overnight as required to secure sites.
