Job summary

K. Hovnanian Homes is seeking a Land Acquisition Manager to help secure a steady land supply and drive growth.

You will identify acquisition opportunities through a broad network of professionals and present compelling land deals to senior leaders, supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in land acquisition, strong negotiation and financial-analysis skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' related experience in Land Acquisition.
• Strong negotiation skills with ability to prepare, interpret and present financial analyses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Successful candidate must maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Identify acquisition opportunities through contacts with brokers, builders, bankers, landowners, engineers, planners, attorneys, municipal officials, and in-house contacts.
• Present land deals you believe in to senior leadership and drive growth.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure land strategy aligns with company objectives.

You’ll have exposure to key senior leaders as you present land deals you believe in. This is the first step in directly driving our Company’s growth. You will identify these acquisition opportunities through your contacts with brokers, builders, bankers, landowners, engineers, planners, attorneys, municipal officials, and in-house contacts. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' related experience in Land Acquisition. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to prepare, interpret and present various financial analyses, as well as statistical market analyses required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and excellent communication skills are necessary. Successful candidate must maintain a valid driver's license.
