Local Authority in Lancaster is seeking an experienced Project/Contract Manager to support a portfolio of property-related projects within a conservation and heritage environment.

You will manage projects and contracts across a substantial property portfolio, coordinating internal teams, contractors and stakeholders to deliver safely, on time and to required standards.

Hybrid working pattern applies to a nine-month contract, with three days in the office and two days from home.

Qualifications

• Experience managing projects and contracts across large property portfolios.
• Strong understanding of conservation and heritage requirements.
• Experience within local government highly beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Manage property-related projects and contracts from planning through to completion.
• Coordinate contractors and external suppliers, monitoring delivery and performance.
• Manage projects across large property portfolios, including portfolios of approximately 20,000 to 500,000 properties.
• Oversee roofing and associated property works.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed requirements, timescales and standards.
• Monitor contractor performance and address issues where required.
• Work with internal stakeholders and external contractors to coordinate project activity.
• Support the identification and management of project risks.
• Apply appropriate health and safety considerations throughout project delivery.
