Job summary

Encon Staffing Associates Ltd in York is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Construction Lead to take a leading role on a heritage-led residential development. The role is full-time and site-based in York, with responsibility for construction delivery, programme, quality and people leadership.

You will bring strong residential construction experience at Senior Site Manager, Project Manager or Contracts Manager level; experience with housebuilders or developers; and a track record of leading site

Qualifications

Job Spec. SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER / CONSTRUCTION LEAD - YORK

We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Construction Lead to take a leading role on one of the country s most exciting heritage-led residential projects in York.

This is a full-time, site-based role in York for someone who's strong on construction delivery, programme, quality and people leadership and who wants to take real ownership of a complex, high-profile development.

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong residential construction experience at Senior Site Manager, Project Manager or Contracts Manager level
• A background working for a housebuilder or property developer, rather than purely a main contractor
• Proven experience leading site teams and driving programme, quality and delivery
• Strong control of subcontractors, sequencing, buildability and day-to-day construction issues

Experience of heritage, conversion or technically complex residential schemes would be a real advantage, but it is not essential. What matters most is strong construction judgement, leadership and the ability to take control of a challenging development and drive it forward.
