Job summary

OpenDigital Limited in Lancaster is seeking an experienced HR Manager for a fully onsite, permanent role. You will deliver strategic and operational HR support, shape people practices, drive organisational effectiveness, and ensure legal compliance across the business.

You will advise and coach managers on employee relations, lead complex ER cases, and develop policies in line with UK employment law and ACAS guidelines. You will also lead recruitment, onboarding and training coordination.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of UK employment law with hands-on ER case experience.
• Experience handling disciplinaries, grievances, absence and redundancy processes.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
• Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex ER cases from start to finish, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes
• Develop and maintain HR policies in line with UK employment law and ACAS guidelines

• Maintain HR systems, produce board-level reports, and support GDPR compliance
• Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, and IT, plus external providers

About the Role

A leading residential property organisation is seeking an experienced HR Manager to deliver both strategic and operational HR support. Based in Lancaster, you'll work closely with senior leadership to shape people practices, drive organisational effectiveness, and ensure legal compliance.

What You'll Do
