Job summary

Global Communications Services is seeking a LAN Support professional to perform LAN support for HQ CLIENT servers and collaborate with the System Administrator to mitigate network threats. The role requires expertise in IA concepts, IAT Level II certification, and active Secret clearance to coordinate with DoD information security protocols.

Responsibilities include monitoring threats, staying current on vulnerabilities, and supporting INFOCONs and Network Orders.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of IA concepts and IAT Level II certification per DoD 8570.01.
• Familiar with current network threats, vulnerabilities, and attacks.
• Knowledge of DoD INFOCONs and network orders (MTOs, TCTOs).
• Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with LAN support for HQ CLIENT functional servers.
• Identify, respond to, and resolve network threats in coordination with Network Operations.
• Support implementation of INFOCONs and Network Orders as directed.
• Provide inputs to government personnel on specific network threats.
