Job summary

American Woodmark Corporation in Georgia is seeking a Lamination Forklift Operator at our Toccoa Plant. This hourly position supports lamination/warehouse operations, loading and unloading, and material handling to meet production goals.

You will operate a forklift, maintain safety standards, complete maintenance checks, enter data in Infinity software, and participate in continuous improvement activities. A forklift license and willingness to learn are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred; in lieu of education, knowledge of plant processes considered.
• Manufacturing experience and willingness to learn to operate the position.
• Track record of teamwork and meeting performance expectations.
• Experience in a team environment with SQDC goals.
• Demonstrated behavior supporting CITE principles.
• Excellent communication skills; Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, quality, production, materials and plant policies.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Read and process scheduling paperwork; input data into Infinity.
• Maintain warehouse integrity and 5S standards.
• Report machine issues to maintenance; perform PMs on equipment.
• Enter material transactions and ensure daily documentation.
• Train new operators using peer trainer tools.
• Participate in Kaizen, TPM, and cross-functional events.
