Job summary

Ringgold Wood Preserving, LLC (RWP) in Ringgold, GA, is seeking a full-time team member to safely operate equipment, manage inventory, and help keep wood treating and shipping running smoothly while meeting daily production goals.

This nonexempt, hourly position may include Saturdays and requires forklift experience with UTD certification or safe-handling demonstration during on-site testing; occasional travel for training may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Forklift experience with UTD certification or ability to demonstrate safe handling in on-site test.
• Warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load/unload trailers safely and efficiently.
• Identify, tag, pull pieces, package, and bundle lumber per order notes.
• Half pack and repackage lumber; complete daily paperwork using MS Office.
• Communicate equipment or workflow issues to the RWP Plant Manager.
• Check inbound/outbound loads for accuracy; follow shipping/receiving schedules.
• Move materials with company trucks; perform trailer inspections per DOT rules.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and protect equipment.
