Oil States is seeking a Laminated Builder I to assemble laminates and parts per build specifications on site. The role involves preparing materials, measuring, cutting, trimming, and assembling components using prescribed procedures and the MIP system, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include organizing materials, reading measurements, stamping reports, and assisting with repairs.

Qualificações

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under close supervision, builds parts efficiently according to specific build-up requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sets-up and prepares parts for build-up.
• Organizes materials and tools required for build-up.
• Checks setup lights.
• Weighs, measures and cuts materials for lamination.
• Trims and buffs parts.
• Builds parts by following prescribed procedures using an MIP.
• Builds/assembles a part, molds the part and disassembles the part.
• Repairs parts as necessary.

• Maintains a clean and safe work area.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED (Not All Inclusive):

• Stamp for MIP
• Paint brush (for chemicals and paint)
• Rolling hand tools to shape or flatten rubber (stitchers, perforators, etc.)
• Xacto knife, blade, scissors (to cut fabric and rubber)
• Trimmers (hand held manual)
• Buffer (hand held electric)
• Clicker machine (cuts rubber with cutting board)
• Syringe with needle to remove air pockets from rubber
• Ruler, tape measure
• Impact (electric)
• Clamps
• Calipher
• Dolly/Cart
• Electric drill
• Air hose
• Crane

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, pushing and pulling.
• Lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and 20 pounds occasionally. Lifting over 30 pounds with assistance.
• Prolonged sitting and/or standing.
• At times may work in heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
