Job summary

The City of St. Peters, MO invites applications for Lakeside Security & Operations Worker at 370 Lakeside Park. The role focuses on security, customer service, light maintenance, and managing reservations and rentals to ensure a safe and enjoyable park experience.

Candidates must be able to work 20–25 hours weekly, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and meet the listed physical and licensing requirements. Background checks and drug screening will be conducted.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more than 75 lbs.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Missouri driver’s license required.
• Security license valid in St. Charles County or obtained within 60 days.
• First Aid and CPR/AED certification or obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Enforce park rules and maintain visitor safety.
• Provide courteous customer service and document responses.
• Perform light maintenance tasks across park facilities and rental areas.
• Support reservations, rentals, memberships, and point‑of‑sale operations.
• Analyze situations and implement practical solutions for park operations.
• Assist in planning and supervising park programs and events.
