Job summary

The City of St. Peters is seeking a Lakeside Security & Operations Worker for 370 Lakeside Park. The role maintains security and smooth park operations across facilities, campground, and rentals, with focus on visitor safety and positive guest experiences.

Shift is 20-25 hours/week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must meet licensing, age, and certification requirements and will perform light maintenance and reservations support as part of enterprise operations.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school graduate or GED certificate.
• Able to work days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid Missouri driver's license.
• Security license valid in St. Charles County or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• First Aid and CPR/AED certification or obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor park to ensure visitor safety and enforce rules.
• Respond to customer service calls and assist visitors in a positive manner.
• Perform light maintenance tasks across park facilities, campground, and rentals.
• Assist with point-of-sale operations and manage camping/facility reservations and equipment rentals.
• Analyze situations, provide recommendations, and implement solutions for park operations.
• Plan, organize, host and supervise park programs and events.
