Job summary

The Suttle Lodge & Boathouse in Deschutes National Forest, Oregon, is hiring cooks for two lakeside restaurants and a boathouse cafe serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with a casual, fish-shack-meets-diner menu. On-property dormitory housing is available.

You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, learn fundamental cooking methods, communicate effectively with the team, and help keep kitchen standards through rotation, health codes, and daily cleaning.

Qualifications

• High-volume kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to learn fundamental cooking methods and build speed.
• Strong team communication and use of kitchen systems.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of food to recipe standards.
• Execution of plated dishes to recipe standards.
• Rotation and organization of product to health code and restaurant standards.
• Daily cleaning of kitchen facilities and equipment to health code and restaurant standards.
