Job summary

Actus Nutrition in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin is seeking a Lactoferrin Operator to join our production team. The role focuses on running equipment in the lactoferrin production area and ensuring product quality.

Shift is Nights 6PM–6AM with every other weekend off. Pay is $24.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift premium. Candidates should be able to multitask, troubleshoot, sample and analyze, and maintain equipment.

• Operate all cleaning and production equipment in the lactoferrin plant.
• Keep the work area neat and clean.

We are currently seeking a Lactoferin Operator to join the Fond du Lac, WI team.

Pay: $24.00 USD per hour with an additional $1.00 per hour for the shift premium.

Shift: Nights, 6PM-6AM with every other weekend off.

Responsibilities

The Lactoferrin Operator has the responsibility for running all equipment in the lactoferrin production area.

Requirements

• Communicate (written and verbal) with all departmental operators to efficiently manage the process and production schedules. Any issues must be reported to a shift lead/supervisor/manager in a timely manner.
• Must be able to Multitask
• Must be able to Trouble Shoot, assist Maintenance when needed.
• Must pull liquid samples, analyze sample, and use analysis for adjusting operation parameters.
• Monitor, plan and track all incoming product for production runs.
• Check Production Samples for all required parameters; document this information on the required paperwork.
• Trace product lines and track the locations of all products being transferred.
• Maintain all Lactoferrin equipment assuring that all product specifications meet specified parameters.
• Monitor all Lactoferrin equipment for leaking gaskets, airlines, pump seals and any other operation deficiencies and report immediately to maintenance/shift lead/supervisor/manager.
• Must operate all cleaning and production equipment within the Lactoferrin Plant.
• Must keep work area in a neat and clean.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

Light Heavy Work- Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 30 pounds.

Production- Exposure to manufacturing environment. Require frequent moving and climbing. Frequent exertion of light to moderate physical effort. Exposure to noise, odor, dust, and discharge from production process.
