Job summary

Actus Nutrition is seeking an Evaporator Operator for the Fond du Lac, WI team. The role involves safely operating the evaporator during night shifts (6 PM–6 AM) with every other weekend off, ensuring efficient production and adherence to safety standards.

The position includes a base pay of $23.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift premium. Training for pasteurization oversight is available if needed. Join a team focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

We are currently seeking an Evaporator Operator to join the Fond du Lac, WI team.

Pay: $23.00 USD per hour with an additional $1.00 per hour for the shift premium.

Shift: Nights, 6PM-6AM with every other weekend off.

Responsibilities

Evaporator Operator is responsible for running the Evaporator in an efficient and productive manner.

Requirements

• Ensure proper set-up for evaporator start-up; change elbows and valves, as necessary
• Maintain/Monitor machine to maximize production.
• Perform analysis during production: sample pH levels and solids while running product through evaporator, adjustment accordingly.
• Perform shut down procedures.
• Operate and monitor the CIP system.
• Monitor tank inventories and assist in coordinating production.
• Perform routine maintenance; working with and advising management and maintenance of major repairs.
• Work in a safe manner, using all necessary safety equipment.
• Operator would need to be a licensed pasteurizer operator or be willing to be trained to oversee the pasteurization process and notify management of any deviations.
• Perform other tasks required to get the job completed and/or requested to be completed by management.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions.

Light Heavy Work- Lifting 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Production- Exposure to manufacturing environment. Require frequent moving and climbing. Frequent exertion of light to moderate physical effort. Exposure to noise, odor, dust, and discharge from production process.
