Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center's Antepartum/Postpartum unit seeks a Lactation Support Registered Nurse to blend bedside care with breastfeeding education for postpartum patients and their newborns.

You will assess feeding needs, provide hands-on coaching, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and help craft individual care plans that promote positive feeding outcomes and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing strongly preferred.
• 1-3 years related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns.
• Assess feeding needs, provide education and hands-on guidance.
• Collaborate with providers and inter-disciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Promote positive feeding experiences and family-centered care.
