Qualifications

• Required: Associate degree

• Required: 1 year experience
• Licensure/Certification: IBLCE certification and CPR (BLS/AHA)

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Women’s and Infant’s services to develop evidence-based feeding plans.
• Conducts breastfeeding assessments and implements plans with staff support.
• Provides lactation support and consults with mothers/infants by physician or nurse referral.
• Develops and evaluates patient education resources and programs.
• Leads breastfeeding classes and support groups.
