• Coordinates and provides patient care/services in accordance with established protocols, policies and procedures.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care/services and makes adjustments to improve patient care.
• Conducts bedside lactation rounds to observe and address patient anxieties and needs.
• Consults with mothers experiencing breastfeeding problems.
• Plans, delivers, and evaluates lactation management services for inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Maintains documentation and charts in patient records; uses electronic systems.
