Job summary

Apolis is seeking a LabWare LIMS Configuration & Integration Specialist to support a LabWare 8 upgrade in a GMP laboratory environment in Thousand Oaks, CA. The role focuses on hands-on configuration of LabWare LIMS 8 including raw materials, products, master data, and instrument interfaces.

You will drive validation, traceability, change control, and data integrity, collaborate with Quality, Validation, IT and Laboratory teams, and support integrations with Empower and LabX, parsing scripts as

• Hands-on LabWare LIMS experience with LabWare 8 preferred.
• Experience in GMP pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical labs.
• Proven ability to configure raw materials and product workflows.
• Experience translating requirements into LIMS configurations.
• Experience supporting LIMS validation and traceability.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure LabWare 8 workflows for raw materials and products, including stability.
• Manage master data, test workflows, specifications, sampling plans, and equipment configurations.
• Translate regulatory, quality, and operational requirements into LabWare designs.
• Support LIMS validation, documentation, and traceability.
• Configure and support LabWare instrument interfaces with other systems.
• Assist integrations with Empower and LabX.
• Support parsing scripts when required and troubleshoot issues.

Job Title: LabWare LIMS Configuration Specialist
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
Duration: 6+ Months

We are currently looking for a LabWare LIMS Configuration & Integration Specialist to support a LabWare 8 upgrade within a GMP laboratory environment.

Key Focus

The ideal candidate will have hands-on LabWare LIMS 8 configuration experience, particularly with:

• Raw material and commercial product workflows
• LabWare master data configuration
• Laboratory equipment workflows
• Instrument/system integrations
• LIMS validation and requirements traceability
• GMP laboratory operations

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support LabWare 8 workflows for raw materials and commercial products, including stability.
• Manage master data, test workflows, specifications, sampling plans, and laboratory equipment configurations.
• Translate regulatory, quality, and operational requirements into compliant LabWare designs.
• Support LIMS validation, documentation, and requirements-to-configuration traceability.
• Configure and support instrument interfaces between LabWare and laboratory systems.
• Support integrations with systems such as Empower and LabX.
• Support parsing scripts where required and permitted.
• Troubleshoot LabWare configuration and integration issues.
• Partner with Quality, Validation, IT, and Laboratory teams.
• Ensure configurations comply with GMP, change control, validation, and data integrity requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with LabWare LIMS, with LabWare 8 strongly preferred.
• Experience working in GMP pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical laboratory environments.
• Strong experience with raw material and commercial product testing.
• Experience configuring laboratory equipment and workflows.
• Experience translating business, quality, and regulatory requirements into LIMS configurations.
• Experience supporting LIMS validation and requirements traceability.
• Experience integrating LabWare with laboratory instruments/systems such as Empower or LabX.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• LabWare 8 upgrade or major LIMS implementation experience.
• Pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical GMP experience.
• Experience supporting LIMS inspection readiness.️>!
