Job summary

United Launch Alliance, LLC. seeks a Labs Operations Leader to manage the Denver EGSE technician and logistics team, reporting to the L5/L6 leadership. You will influence budgets, staffing, and capital projects while driving standardization and continuous improvement.

Requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering, 6+ years in the field, and 2+ years leading projects or teams. The role emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and ITAR compliance in a high‑stakes aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or related Engineering field from an accredited University.
• Minimum of 6 years of applicable experience in the associated technical area.
• Minimum of 2 years of project management or team lead experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience leveraging teamwork and development opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to deal with personnel issues to ensure performance and team cohesiveness.
• Experience with issue resolution and working with cross-functional teams.
• Written and oral communication/presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and manage the EGSE technician and logistics team.
• Set weekly priorities for the team and remove barriers.
• Forecast workload and provide staffing inputs to EGSE leaders.
• Develop the Denver technician certification process.
• Oversee annual labs overhead budget as CAM.
• Lead departmental improvements and capital projects.
• Foster an inclusive, accountable team.
